About =m8s=
Founded September 6th, 2003 =m8s= is a group of friends tied together with the enjoyment of online gaming. Originally an RTCW clan we have moved on into many different games from World of Warcraft to Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory, to Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare as well as console gaming in both XBox 360 and Wii. We currently run a Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare server and have the intentions of starting up a new Wolfenstein server in the New Year with the new release of the next version of the Wolfenstein saga. Our focus is and always has been based on friendship and fun. We do our best to make everyone feel welcome regardless of your skill level or age. Our roster current consists of 25 members from 4 different countries, ages 21 years of age to 59 years of age, we thrive in our diversity and have a common bond of friendship that keeps us active. We at =m8s= often get asked about membership, since we consider ourselves more a group of friends than a clan we only recruit by invitation only, people we know well and know will be great in our group dynamics. Our answer about membership to =m8s= is usually post on the forums a lot and play on our server as much as you can so that everyone gets a chance to get to know you. We at =m8s= strive to create a server that is fun for all, and where everyone is welcome. All players playing on the server, and/or participating in the forums, are expected to have read and understood these rules. Ignorance is not a valid defence. 1: No intentional teamkilling. If you intentionally teamkill you will be kicked or permanently banned! 2: No foul language! Is just that simple, keep the language clean. We will not hesitate to remove a player from the server, if they cannot speak in a civilised manner. 3: No racist comments. If you feel like making a racial slur, kindly leave our server and never return. 4: No harassing, or verbally abusing any players. We expect players to respect each other on our server and in the forums. If you cannot do this, than kindly leave. This includes but is not limited to respecting other player's language, race, and creed. 5: No names containing foul language, racial slurs, or explicit sexual content. No "blank" names. Our server is open to all ages; therefore, we require that names and aliases are tasteful. 6: No clan recruitment or server advertising. Recruit your clan on your own server, and on your own time. We encourage the creation of new clans and are always willing to lend a hand, but spamming the server for recruitment is distracting. 7: No whining, complaining, moaning, or groaning about anything. If you do not like the map, keep it to yourself. If you think your teammates suck, find a new server and a new team. If you hate the CVAR restrictions of the server, there are plenty of others out there to choose from. We at =m8s= reserve the right to remove anyone from our server, if we feel they in violation of any of these rules or being a negative influence on the server. These rules exist for the benefit of all, in order to allow a friendly environment for people to enjoy the game. We encourage players of all levels from the 'noobs' to the '1337' to play on our server. All are welcome. If you have been removed from the server and wish to dispute the reasons for the kick, take you concerns up with one of the members in private. We will promise to look over the situation. If you come on to the forums and start verbally assaulting us, odds are that it will do nothing other than ensure that your complaint will not be taken seriously. Our server is protected by both PBBans and PunksBusted, it streams to the master ban lists from each site. Cheating on our server is an automatic ban; the server will do it for us we don't even have to think about it. So don't even test cheats or hacks because you will get caught!
